Quinn's Fig Babies

This week, I was housesitting for some friends of ours and one of the things they had me do was water their plants--a few indoor plants, the rosebush, the orange tree, the aloe plant, and.... Quinn's fig babies. (Pictured above) While I was sitting in his chair, getting my hair cut, he told me, "You're gonna laugh at my fig babies." "Your...fig babies?" And he told me that his fig tree has been reproducing fig plants and he uproots them, sticks them in cans, and sells them on Craigslist! Crazy, right? But last summer, he made $60 from selling them and they do well in Tucson's soil and they reproduce figs relatively quickly. So I took care of them while he was on vacation with the fam.
